We begin with a visit to the historic Fortim del Rey, with a brief stop to explore Mindelo's military and port past. This is an excellent introduction to the strategic importance of São Vicente throughout Cape Verde's history.

We continue on a panoramic climb to Monte Verde, 750 meters above sea level. Along the way, we'll take short breaks to enjoy the stunning views of the island. At the top, we'll stop at the traditional Tea House, where you can enjoy typical drinks and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the mountain.

🎣 3. Salamansa – Fishing Village and Wild Beach

The adventure continues to the coastal village of Salamansa, known for its simplicity, natural beauty, and expansive beach. A calm and authentic setting, ideal for relaxing and observing the local way of life.

Stop at the famous Baía das Gatas, where the sea forms a natural pool surrounded by volcanic rocks.

Here you'll have 1 hour of free time to swim or enjoy the beach (optional activity). It's an ideal place for those who want to relax or quietly explore this serene environment.

🌾 5. Dunes and Praia Grande – Movie Sets

We cross the shifting sand dunes to the impressive Praia Grande, one of the largest and wildest on the island. An invitation to contemplate untouched landscapes and the power of nature in its purest form.

🌋 6. Calhau – Nature, Science, and Flavor

We arrive at the charming village of Calhau, nestled between volcanic craters and unique landscapes. We visited attractions such as a shrimp farm and a turtle rehabilitation center, and explored the traces of volcanic activity.

We finished with a delicious lunch at the renowned Hamburg Restaurant, a reference in local cuisine.
