We continue on a panoramic climb to Monte Verde, 750 meters above sea level. Along the way, we'll take short breaks to enjoy the stunning views of the island. At the top, we'll stop at the traditional Tea House, where you can enjoy typical drinks and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the mountain.

We arrive at the charming village of Calhau, nestled between volcanic craters and unique landscapes. We visited attractions such as a shrimp farm and a turtle rehabilitation center, and explored the traces of volcanic activity.

We finished with a delicious lunch at the renowned Hamburg Restaurant, a reference in local cuisine.

The activity begins with a brief introduction to diving, sea safety, and guidance on how to interact responsibly with the animals.

Participants receive a life jacket, mask, and snorkel—no swimming or previous diving experience is required.

🐢 Diving with Turtles (Guided Snorkeling)

With entry from the beach or with boat support (depending on the day's conditions), the group is accompanied by a local guide who carefully conducts the experience.

For approximately 25 to 30 minutes (regulations apply), you will have the opportunity to observe green turtles swimming freely near the shore, in a natural and preserved setting.

The walk continues to the bustling Fish Market, next to Porto Grande Wharf, where you can observe the daily lives of fishermen and the port activity that still drives the island's economy.

A special stop is made at the replica of Lisbon's iconic Belém Tower, located on the waterfront. Currently, the building houses the Museum of the Sea, dedicated to the maritime history of Cape Verde, with exhibits on traditional fishing, navigation, and marine biodiversity.
